How to remain positive in a negative situation?

Naniniwala ka ba sa kasabihan na “When it rains, it pours”?

Kadalasan ay maihahalintulad ito sa mga negatibong pangyayari sa iyong buhay.

Halimbawa nito ay, isang araw pagka-gising mo, na-realize mo na hindi nag-alarm ang cellphone mo at late ka na sa trabaho.

Nagmamadali kang pumasok sa banyo para maligo. Upon turning on the shower, you realize na walang tubig.

Pag-check mo ng balde, wala din tubig.

Hindi na naman nag-igib ang housemate mo.

So, naisipan mong maligo nalang sa pabango.

Paglabas mo ng bahay, wala kang masakyan.

Eh wala kang choice kundi maghintay dahil coding ka.

Salamat naman at nakasakay ka na pero siksikan sa jeep.

And guess what? May nakatabi kang hindi kanais-nais ang amoy.

Mukhang wala din tubig sa kanila. Finally, nakarating ka na sa office.

Mahaba ang pila sa elevator kaya naghagdan ka na lamang. Nasa 20th floor ang office ninyo.

Ayan, nakarating ka na sa wakas. Nagulat ka bakit walang tao? Tinanong mo si Manong Guard.

Ang sagot sa’yo, “Diba po company outing ninyo ngayon?”

Most of us, if not all, have experienced this kind of “malas”, one way or the other, in our lives.

Masakit kapag nangyari ito sa’yo. So, ang tanong, how can you remain positive in a negative situation like this?

Accept

Huwag kang maniwala kay April Boy Regino na di mo kayang tanggapin. Lahat ng bagay may solution.

Kailangan lang muna tanggapin mo na nangyari na ang nangyari.

Accept and move on. Kasi kung hindi, you will be stuck to where you are… feeling nega or stressed because of the situation.

Experience Fully

Kung galit ka or bad trip ka sa nangyari, huwag mong lokohin sarili mo at sabihin mong okay ka lang, think positive kuno.

Pero yung utak mo, kumukulo na at malapit nang sumabog parang Taal. Experience the negative emotion fully.

Again, accept that you are feeling what you are feeling. In this way, you are at peace with yourself.

Hindi kayo magkaaway. Ang kailangan mo lang gawin, make sure huwag ka lang masyado tatagal sa negative emotions mo.

Magkasundo kayo ng sarili mo na, “Self, few minutes lang tayo maba-badtrip ha.

Pagkatapos niyan, move on na tayo.”

Look at the Bright Side

Upon accepting what happened and allowing yourself to experience what you truly feel, you are now one step away from recovery!

Ngayon, mas clear na utak mo at open na siya to look at the situation differently.

Maghahanap na ang mind mo ng gold at the end of the rainbow.

Walang tubig? Okay lang, nakatipid ako.

Siksikan sa jeep? Okay lang, nag-smile naman sakin yung cutie sa harapan ko.

Naglakad ng 20 floors? Salamat naman finally naka-exercise din ako.

Hindi nakasama sa company outing? May time na ako bisitahin mga magulang ko.

Diba?

Now that you allowed yourself to accept the situation and be true to your emotions, ready ka na mag-move and look at the bright side.

Sabi nga sa isang quotes “You need to train our mind to see the good in every situation”

Remember that you can still make it — even when others discourage you!

It’s hard to pursue your dreams when your family, friends and coworkers don’t believe in you.

It feels good to have people that you care about support your dreams.

But whenever someone tells you that you can’t do something, that a goal is “impossible”, wag ka mawalan ng pag-asa.

Instead, train your mind to see their disbelief as a challenge.

Instead of saying, “They’re probably right. I can’t do it” train yourself to think,

“Okay. Now, I’ll SHOW you what I can do.”
