Ano nga ba ang trabaho na ito?
It is similar to a secretary or executive assistant pero you are doing your job remotely.
You can do this part-time or full-time.
Depende sa preference mo. You can be hired as a VA by different employers.
May mga business owners or mga real estate agents or brokers.
Some will hire you to assist them in eCommerce, Marketing or Social Media.
Mayroon naman na they just need you to answer calls or emails for them.
This work from home opportunity is very promising dahil malaki din ang kitaan dito.
Napakalawak ng duties and responsibilities ng isang Virtual Assistant.
It can be anything that your client needs help with.
But let me share with you the basic requirements and skills you need to get hired.
Dapat ay computer savvy ka. Not necessarily an expert but you are knowledgeable in Microsoft Office like Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
And because your job is online, preferably familiar ka din sa Google Drive specifically Google Docs and Google Sheets.
Preferred by most clients ang english language as a form of communication so at a minimum, dapat you can carry a long conversation in english.
This is a must para nagkaka-intindihan kayo ng client mo at ng ibang ipapakausap niya sa iyo.
Even if this is a work from home type of job, most clients require their VA to have a small “office setup” in their house so that things will still be professional, so to speak.
You must be 18 years old and above. Depende sa employer mo, but some doesn’t require you to have a degree. College level is okay as long as you meet the other basic requirements.
Basic Skills Required
Admin Skills – like encoding, database management (Huwag ka mag-alala.
Naka-setup na ang database. Ima-manage mo nalang.) file management and handling emails.
SocMed Skills – basic knowledge of inputting content, uploading media files and running ads for Facebook, Instagram, LinkIn and Twitter.
In some cases, the following skills can land you a higher paying VA job: basic photo editing, basic video editing, basic marketing skills, basic presentation skills and basic call handling.
- Basic Equipment
- Laptop or Desktop Computer
- Reliable Internet Connection
- Working Webcam
How much do I get paid?
Remember I mentioned earlier that this work from home opportunity is promising at competitive na din ang pwede mo kitain dito?
Magkano nga ba ang salary range ng isang Virtual Assistant? Well, $700.00 to $1,000.00 per month lang naman.
That is P35,000.00 to P50,000.00 a month.
Not bad! This is based on a 40-hour work week.
Where to apply?
- Very popular ang Virtual Assistant job dahil nga napaka-wide ng scope nito.
- And because of this, maraming sites ang nag-ooffer ng VA jobs:
- International Sites (FreeUp, Upwork and myOutdesk)
- Local Site (onlinejobs ph)
- Facebook Groups (Virtual Assistant Network Philippines, Homebased Call Center Philippines, etc.)
Kung ikaw ay naghahanap ng work from home job na simple and not so complicated pero competitive naman ang possible income, then the VA work is for you.
Hindi kailangan na napakataas ng iyong pinag-aralan o kaalaman.
But, of course, if you want to be able to ask for a higher pay, improving your knowledge and adding more skills will definitely give you that edge.
