How To Prevent Burnout As An Entrepreneur?

How To Prevent Burn Out
You are on this page because you are looking for a solution for your problem on how to prevent burnout as an entrepreneur.

There’s a lot of things that always distract you from doing your activities on a daily basis. You have a lot on your plate, I get it!

Welcome to the Entrepreneur world!!!

It doesn’t have to be that way. Kailangan mo ng isang system, a daily discipline, that’s how you prevent burnout from getting the best of you.

So Let’s Start with MICRO LEVEL. Micro is the activities you do on a daily basis.

Getting Enough Sleep

Don’t overwork, kailangan mo din magpahinga. Maybe some of the entrepreneurs like you ay umaasa sa mga supplements.

In exchange for having enough time to sleep.

Pero ang hindi mo alam those drinks na may caffeine are giving you a temporary solution. So still, it’s not ok to have only 6 hrs of sleep.

Later on, your body will break down from having sleep fatigue. Your body needs a good amount of rest para maging mas productive ka sa iyong mga activities daily at makaiwas sa burn out.

Set An Anchor- Ito yung magti- trigger at magreremind sayo para patuloy mong magawa yung mga activities mo on a schedule.

Anchor #1 Hard Stop At The End Of Your Days

You need to set an anchor by setting an alarm. Yes! Tama ang nabasa mo. For example, you finish all sort of your work at 5 pm.

You will not allow phone calls, no more extra work, no more last-minute answering replies.

Then you have still time to eat your meal at the right time, makapag relax by walking outside sa inyong compound, Enjoying the sunset or watching your favorite tv show.

Anchor #2 Devices Off

Again you need to set an alarm to off your devices bago ka matulog.

I recommend that you set your alarm 1 hour before your bedtime. For 2 reasons, because the blue light na nanggagaling sa ating mga mobile phones, laptops, or television can trick us that it’s still early or still daytime.

And the 2 nd reason is what most people experience. Kapag hinayaan natin na magspend tayo ng oras browsing on the internet and social media.

And then your brain still wants to continue to consume time browsing from one content to another one.

The bottom line is setting an alarm to turn off all your devices before going to bed to avoid these things happened.

Anchor #3 One Activity That Consistently Signals Its Time To Power Down

Halimbawa, just  taking a hot bath bago ka matulog…Simple lang di ba? But as we know, a hot shower before getting to bed makes our body relax.

And when you do that, your mind begins to think that, it’s time to rest and sleep.

Ok, let’s jump to MACRO LEVEL- Macro means the activities you do on a bigger scale. Taking breaks from the activities you do on the daily basis.

Every Month- 3 Day Weekend

Allow yourself to take a break from work like having a 3 days weekend once a month.

It will helps you na magkaroon ng energy at marefresh ang mind mo pagbalik mo sa trabaho.

Like going to some places, to the beach with friends or families. Spending quality time to relax and refresh your mind.

Like Bill Gates, every single year meron sya tinatawag na Think Week.

He doesn’t allow anyone to bother him when he is on what he called Think Week. So the best thing that you can do for your business, is not actually working.

It is to pull back a little bit and take a break. And that’s the bigger picture on how to prevent burnout, on how to avoid na mangyari ito sayo.

I hope, may natutunan ka sa blog na ito and I hope na mai- apply mo din ang mga steps na ito on how to prevent burnout sa kagaya ko na Entrepreneur.
